This is the personal web home of
composer/oboist/teacher Dr. Patricia Morehead and pianist, conductor,
vocal coach, and editor Philip Morehead.
Phil worked the last two summers at the Highlands Opera Studio
in Haliburton, Ontario, which is an operatic apprentice program founded

again work with them in August 2018, conducting their summer production
of Puccini's La bohème. In February Phil participated in a
two-day intensive session presented by MYOpera in Toronto for six young
opera singers, giving an aria master class and helping prepare duets
and trios for performance. Phil is a member of the Muskoka Big Band and
the Loft Singers in Huntsville.
Pat's new choral work entitled A Summer Rain on poetry by Mike Shain was premiered on May 9, 2017 at 7pm by the Highlands Festival Singers,
