The New England Chamber Opera Group

The New England Chamber Opera Group was founded in Boston in 1972 by singer/director Rafael de Acha and his wife, coloratura soprano Kimberly Daniel. They were joined shortly thereafter by pianist Phil Morehead. In the period from 1970 to 1978 NECOG presented a number of operas in Boston:
