Pat and Phil have a new professional websites!
This is the personal web home of composer/oboist/teacher Dr. Patricia Morehead and pianist, conductor, vocal coach, and editor Philip Morehead.
The spring/summer of 2009 was a flurry of travelling. with trips to Tallinn, Estonia, where Pat attended a conference on music education (with stops in Paris and St. Petersburg) and to Birmingham, England, where Pat & Phil performed a new work by Pat (Three Icons of the Feminine Divine) at the International Double Reed Convention (with a side trip to Ireland). Earlier in the spring Pat performed the premiere of her Disquieted Souls for English horn and chamber ensemble with North/South Consonance in New York City.
This season Phil covers Tosca, Ernani, Kat'a Kabanová, and La damnation de Faust.
